Mission 01

Start time : 5pm Pacific time. anyone wanting to join the mission please contact CAPT. Rhino. Currently we are in need of at least 2 helo pilots.

Situation : CV group receives a call from the US Coast guard while off the coast of California. The Coast Guard says they received a distress call but lost contact before they could get the location of the distress call.  The ship in distress is a yacht reported to have left San Diego on the way to Santa Barbara, C.A. with 10 to 14 people on board.  The yacht is expected to be somewhere between the 2 cites, most likely close enough to shore to see land.


Action : CV group will send all available aircraft out to search for the mission yacht. Aircraft are to spread out and stay under 3000 feet while searching the area. When the yacht is found try to get close enough to see if there are any survivors. Report location in to CV group and CV group will vector helos in to pick up survivors.  


Aircraft :
F-18 = 2+
H-60 or other helo= 2+
AWAC or ATC= 1+
Other aircraft can be in the mission. Any non carrier aircraft will take off from North island if Navy or Airforce and Miramar if Marine.
